Memberships

Join as a member of the Nanaimo Community Gardens Society and support our work to get more people growing food locally. All current members are entitled to a vote at the AGM, and are entitled to be oriented to and participate at our Hammond Bay Greenhouse and Pine St Community Garden sites and in our gleaning program. Members can choose to receive email updates regarding upcoming events, workshops and other NCGS activities. Information collected on your membership form is kept confidential and will not be lent, rented, sold or traded.

Membership fees are on a sliding scale.

Regular (children are included with adults' membership) - $10-25
Sustaining - $30 and up
Corporate/Organizational - $100 and up

(* entitled to tax receipt for amount of membership minus $10 base fee)
To remove any financial barriers, the membership fee may be waived in exchange for 10 hours of volunteerism for the society.
